2010 Saskatchewan OpenAlright folks, I've decided to bite the bullet. I hereby announce my intention to organize the 2010 Sask Open. I will TD the event, and likely not play. In order to bring this to fruition, however, I will need some help. First, I would appreciate some input as to preferred date. Thoughts?

Before the May Long Weekend..
because i want to jack up my rating before going to Nationals in scholastic. The top players in Alberta, Quebec and Ontario are respectively 2184, 1814 and 2064 in CFC rating. So no fish here.
How does
April 10-11 sound? No Alta tournament, so that's good. Jamin, are you available to play?

I'd be able to make April 10-11. Any idea on a venue? The university might be problematic since that's about the time for finals.

Correction
There is a tournament in Lethbridge on that weekend. If you're goal is to get some Alberta players, you may want to hold the Sask Open on a different weekend. If not, points 1 and 3 below still hold.
I'm planning to hold another
I'm planning to hold another Battle at the Border fundraiser in Saskatoon on March 6, so preferably not on that weekend.
My vote is for March 20 & 21. The advantages of this weekend are:
1. It is a month and a half away, which gives people plenty of notice and allows for advertising, etc.
2. It does not conflict with any ACA tournaments.
3. I will probably be able to play.
