(Chess) Play Dates

This forum topic is for getting together with others to play some chess at some time and place.

When you want to get something started, post here. Include any relevant details, like time, place, duration, what kind of games you want to play. Don't just say "Hey, anyone want to play some chess?"

I will post some details later on how you can follow this discussion using your favourite email program or web browser that knows how to handle RSS feeds, so you won't need to be bothered with frequently visiting the web site to see who is looking for a chess fix. Stay tuned.

Lower Place Riel Tonight (Nov 9, 7 pm)

I'll be here for sure, and heard rumblings that at least one other kind soul will as well.

Monday night action

Good turn out last night (Nov. 16th) as we saw the return of Adithya as well as some of the other usual suspects. Xiao and Magsino were missing in action however.. I hope next week we get another good showing; there has been interest picking up from the passersby and some fresh blood on occasion.

Haven't come out in a month!

Sorry, as the sole stakeholder in my household who doesn't know how to drive, I get pushed aside by other "important things" like hanging out friends and the likes. I'll try and be there on Monday, the 23rd. Anyone else?

Unless some disaster strikes, I'll be in Lower Place Riel for the usual Monday night madness, hopefully by 7 pm.

Chess Tonight (August 31), Lower Place Riel

Jason and I will both be on hand for a little chess in whatever part of Lower Place Riel that is not under construction. Bring your sets and clocks, and perhaps protective head gear. We should both be there from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm, although Jason might will likely be there between 6 and 7 pm, being the keener he is.
