Sask OpenHey folks. As you may have guessed, I have not put any work into organizing the 2010 Sask Open. To be blunt, I have so little interest in chess these days that I completely lack motivation in this regard. If for no other reason than to follow through on my commitment, however, I will try to solicit support for an early- to mid-June weekend. For the record I will not advertise the 2010 Sask Open out of province, but I hope to renew dialogue with the Regina contingent. Which June weekend works best for you lot?

I really want the Saskatchewan Open to be a strong turn out, or else we probably won't get Kevin and Keith. I was hoping that we could advertise to Alberta.

The earlier weekends are already booked up with either piano or gymnastics. Regardless of the weekend, I can help with publicity and possibly TDing.
One suggestion I have is to feature a one-day active, unrated section. It's a little more work, but in the past they have brought out a few new faces.

June being one of the two months in the year with no long weekend. I'd like it to be the first weekend in June... the fifth and sixth.
